I'm seeing a huge difference in pricing and am wondering if there's a difference between a max dmg 6-28 battle axe and chaos axe other than sprite (not counting the mods on them)?

Well the chaos axe glows...

No there is no difference stat-wise, people just like the looks of the chaos axe.
